Tour Plan
On arrival at Auckland, clear customs and immigration and Pick up at 12:00 PM and move towards your hotel to check in. Well, despite its distance from the rest of the world, there are actually a lot of awesome and unique things that Auckland is known for from the Sky Tower to volcanoes. Acting as the gateway to New Zealand for most international visitors, Auckland has a rich history, melting pot culture, and unique natural environment that has made it famous. Dinner and overnight in Auckland.
After breakfast, proceed to Rotorua – the Sulphur City. The name Rotorua comes from Maori roots. Roto means lake and Rua means two. This destination boasts of the second largest lake in North Island. Rotorua is one place where the turbulent forces that formed New Zealand are most evident. This city, on the Volcanic Plateau, has one of the world’s most lively fields of geothermal activity. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Later in the late afternoon we enjoy the Polynesian Spa. Relax and unwind on the tranquil shores of Lake Rotorua at Polynesian Spa - a world-leading, natural mineral bathing and luxury day spa retreat. Channeling geothermal marvels in its backyard, the 28 mineral pools are fed from two natural springs for a combination that both nourishes the skin and relieves tired muscles, aches and pains.
After breakfast leave for a day full of activities. Visit the world famous Agrodome agricultural show - a must see stage show starring New Zealand’s 19 breeds of sheep, sheep shearing and dog trails, We come back to our hotel for Lunch, Post lunch we proceed to visit Whakharewarewa Thermal Reserves. Enter Te Whakarewarewa Valley and experience the unique Māori Culture and Geothermal Landscapes. The Living Māori Village is owned and operated by local residents, providing an intimate look into day-to-day life of the locals. Evening we spend some time of the Lake Rotorua shore Or in the city center for some souvenir shopping. Dinner and overnight in Rotorua.
After breakfast we drive to Huka Falls. The Huka Falls are a set of waterfalls on the Waikato River that drains Lake Taupo in New Zealand. A few hundred metres upstream from the Huka Falls, the Waikato River narrows from approximately 100 metres across into a canyon only 15 metres across. Later Proceed to Devil’s Pool, this neon green pool of stagnant stink water is a natural wonder. Visit Champagne Pool, is a prominent geothermal feature within the Waiotapu geothermal area in the North Islandof New Zealand.
After breakfast, leave for Auckland and Check in to your hotel. You will then proceed for a city tour of Auckland’s most iconic spots such as the Michael Joseph Memorial park, Mission bay Beach & Queens Street. Later, Proceed to the Auckland Sky Tower. The Sky Tower is an observation and telecommunications tower and at 328 meters, it is the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere and the 25th tallest tower in the world. It has become an iconic landmark in Auckland's skyline due to its height and unique design. Later, head to the hotel for check in and dinner.
After breakfast proceed to Auckland Airport to Board flight for Queenstown. Arrive Queenstown and proceed to Te Anau. Te Anau is a town in the Southland region of the South Island of New Zealand. It is on the eastern shore of Lake Te Anau in Fiordland. Lake Te Anau is the largest lake in the South Island and second only within New Zealand to Lake Taupo. Arrive and check in at Hotel. Later we visit the Te Anua Glowworm Caves. Later return back to Hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Milford Sound. Travel through the spectacular Eglington valley and homer tunnel to world famous Milford sound. Upon arrival, board your red boat vessel for a spectacular cruise in Nz’s most famous waterway to explore the wonder of this majestic fjord. See MITRE peak, one of the highest mountain in the area to rise directly from the ocean floor. View the Stirling and the Bowen falls as your cruise takes you out to the mouth of Tasman Sea. Also spot the seals and watch out for dolphins surfing the bow wave of the boat. Enjoy a cruise on the famous sound.
After breakfast, make your way back to Queenstown. Queenstown is the adventure Sports Capital of the world. It the largest center in Central Otago, and the third largest in Otago. It is built around Lake Wakatipu, and has spectacular views of nearby mountains. It has an estimated resident population of 10,416. Proceed to the world famous Kawarau Bungee Bridge. Gather some of the inner strength to take a plunge above the Clear waters of Kawarau River and feel the adrenaline (Optional). After bungee drive to the Historical Arrow town, this came into existence on the world map during the gold rush period. Check your luck if you can find some GOLD NUGGETS at the Arrow river. Later arrive Queenstown and check in Hotel.
After breakfast, explore the wonders of Queenstown at leisure. Here you will enjoy the truly unique experience of riding the famous Skyline Gondola 450m above Queenstown to bob’s peak and the skyline complex. Enjoy breathtaking views of lake and mountains from every point. You may relax in coffee shop, or browse in the souvenir shop. Day free for leisure after Lunch
After breakfast, proceed for Wanaka. Arrive at Wanaka and Visit Puzzling World. Stuart Landsborough's Puzzling World began as a single story maze in 1973, gradually expanding to become an award-winning complex of optical illusions and puzzling rooms and the world's first 3-D maze. Puzzling World is best known for its Leaning Tower of Wanaka and eccentric lavatory styled as a Roman bathroom. Later, we proceed to Lake Wanaka to spend some free time on the lake. In the late afternoon we proceed back to Queenstown for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, make your way towards Christchurch. Pass through the largest fruit producing town of Cromwell. En route also pass through the breathtaking Lake Pukaki, in the foothills of the tallest and the world famous Mt. Cook. Our next stop is going to be the picturesque Lake Tekapo. Later we proceed towards Christchurch for dinner and check in at the hotel.
After breakfast we proceed to visit International Antarctic Centre, which shows us excellent history of South Pole - Antarctica and the part that Christchurch has played. After lunch we proceed to visit the Canterbury museum followed by a short city orientation tour and some free time in the city center. Dinner and overnight in Christchurch
After breakfast drop off at 9:00 Am proceed to airport to board the flight for home.
